The standard applies to welded joints of rod reinforcement and reinforcing wire with a diameter of 3 mm and more, welded joints of rod reinforcement with steel with a thickness of 4 to 30 mm, made in the manufacture of reinforcement and embedded products of reinforced concrete structures, as well as during installation of prefabricated structures and the construction of monolithic reinforced concrete structures. The standard establishes the types, design and dimensions of the specified welded joints performed by resistance and arc welding. The standard does not apply to welded joints of embedded products that do not have reinforcing steel anchor rods

Стандарт распространяется на сварные соединения стержневой арматуры и арматурной проволоки диаметром 3 мм и более, сварные соединения стержневой арматуры с прокатом толщиной от 4 до 30 мм, выполняемые при изготовлении арматурных и закладных изделий железобетонных конструкций, а также при монтаже сборных и возведении монолитных железобетонных конструкций. Стандарт устанавливает типы, конструкцию и размеры указанных сварных соединений, выполняемых контактной и дуговой сваркой. Стандарт не распространяется на сварные соединения закладных изделий, не имеющих анкерных стержней из арматурной стали
